Crafting the Perfect Parisian Wedding
As a French-Texan luxury wedding planner, I thrive on blending the sophistication of French elegance with the warm grandeur of Texan hospitality. Recently, we had the joy of orchestrating a stunning wedding for a lovely couple from New York City. Their dream was to celebrate their love in true Parisian style, and we made that dream come true at two of Paris’s most prestigious venues: the Ritz Paris and Hôtel de Crillon.
The Ritz Paris: Setting the Stage
The celebration kicked off at the legendary Ritz Paris, where guests were greeted with a glass of Moët & Chandon at 5:30 PM, setting a tone of elegance right from the start. A classical music quartet played as guests arrived, creating a magical ambiance. By 6:00 PM, everyone was ushered into the Grand Jardin, a beautiful garden space transformed with lavish floral designs that left everyone speechless.
Of course, we always have a plan B. The Salon d’Été was on standby as a backup venue in case of rain, ensuring that nothing could spoil the festivities.
An Elegant Ceremony
The ceremony itself was nothing short of enchanting. Surrounded by exquisite floral arrangements in shades of pink and purple, the bride and groom exchanged their vows in the most romantic setting imaginable. The grandeur of the Ritz Paris provided the perfect backdrop for this intimate and heartfelt moment.
Moving to Hôtel de Crillon
After the ceremony, guests were whisked away by luxury buses to Hôtel de Crillon for the reception. Upon arrival, they were welcomed with champagne, signature cocktails, and delicious canapés, all to the soothing sounds of a jazz band. This smooth transition from one iconic venue to another added a layer of sophistication and excitement to the evening.
Dinner and Dancing at Hôtel de Crillon
The dinner at Hôtel de Crillon was a feast for the senses. With a château-style wedding design featuring rich tones of dark purple, pink, and red, the décor was both dramatic and romantic. Golden candelabras with pink candles and lush floral centerpieces adorned the tables, creating an atmosphere of opulence.
Music was a key element of this wedding, with five different music vendors ensuring that each moment was perfectly scored. From the jazz band during cocktails to live performances during dinner and a DJ who kept the dance floor alive into the night, the music added an unforgettable rhythm to the celebration.
